Brain Story Love

Brain Story Love is one of those puzzle games where players have to solve different levels by removing pieces of clothing from different women, drawing things to complete an image or scanning scenes to find hidden objects on a woman's body. In most situations, you have to create an embarrassing situation that is conceived from a misogynistic point of view that turns women into mere objects of sexual desire.

The way Brain Story Love works is the same as always: in each level, you find a sort of puzzle (if you can call it that) where you are asked to find a series of objects and resolve a situation, either drawing something into the scene, removing clothing or "scanning" one of the characters. The type of situations you face are: "remove that girls t-shirt", "get her to undo her buttons", "move the sun closer to the woman so she takes her clothes off", etc.

Although the game mechanic is fun in the beginning, it is important to highlight that practically every level is designed to be cheeky and erotic (and there's nothing wrong with that), but the women end up succumbing to a regrettable reduction to objects of desire where narratives that normalize sexual harassment and assault are not only normalized but considered fun, and that is the truly alarming aspect of the game.

Brain Story Love is a "puzzle" game that, despite an entertaining mechanic, is plagued with harmful narratives that make it difficult to recommend for a more critical audience.
